Microsoft is to update its flagship operating system next month so that the latest generation of Windows 10 hardware devices and software can tap into augmented and virtual reality technologies.

The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is coming soon, Microsoft has revealed.

Apart from this, the Creators Update will also introduce Microsoft's latest Fluent Design System although much like Google's Material Design update its adoption would be a gradual process. Microsoft has reimagined the Photos Application to deliver remixed experiences for telling stories with photos, videos, music, 3D, and even inking. It is expected that it will be available on October 17 of this year. And to take advantage of this power, the company has plans for a lineup of Xbox Play Anywhere games including Cuphead, Forza Motorsport 7, Super Lucky's Tale and Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
